Tija Despotović

 

Psychiatrist, training group analyst (GASB), training analyst (BPS-IPA); worked for many years at the Psychiatric Clinic of the University Clinical Centre of Belgrade, mainly in Day Hospital in Therapeutic Community. One of the founders and former chair of Group Analytic Society Belgrade, now chairing GA Training Committee. Works in private practice for more than two decades with both individuals and groups. Psychic pain, mourning on individual and societal level, as well as psychotherapy with difficult patients, are some of the topics of her written papers. Strongly believes in international development of group analysis and exchange between institutes and individuals in theory and practice.
